Book with Confidence - Booking protection on Wavysail trips

With only six places on each of our trips, we always encourage people to book up early. After all, the sailing adventure of a lifetime is something you probably want to plan in advance. To help potential crew do that, we only ask for a 10% deposit to reserve your space.

NOW, we're Introducing Wavysail Booking Protection

However, events outside your control might still mean your plans need to change, even last minute, and that can be a worry when booking in advance. 

With this in mind, we are now happy to offer "booking protection" on all our adventures. 

This insurance protects your booking and gives you a full reimbursement for a range of the most common reasons for cancellation, including:-

• Unexpected transit delays or strikes

• Injury or illness of yourself or a member of your immediate family. 

• Death of an immediate family member

• Unexpected deployment as member of the armed forces

• Pregnancy 

Booking protection will now be offered at the point of "checkout" for a small additional fee. To take up the offer, simply tick the box at checkout and enjoy the extra protection and peace of mind it offers. It's run by an international insurer called Cover-Genius and the insurance premium and any claims will be managed by them. 

Booking insurance does NOT cover you for simply changing your mind or for every eventuality. If you need to change your plans for any reason, with or without booking protection, just give us a call. We will always do our best to find a solution.
