We are delighted to announce that Wavy is confirmed as skipper of "GotoBermuda" on the upcoming Clipper Round the World Yacht Race

This prestigious global yacht race, brainchild of Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, allows non-professionals the opportunity to crew one of eleven stripped down Ocean Racing yachts around the world.

The race is incredibly demanding on Skippers, not just because of the challenge of a circumnavigation, but also because they must lead, nurture and be responsible for the safety of the crew while at sea - many of whom have never sailed prior to joining the race, apart from the intensive training  which Clipper puts all crew through. Skipper selection is immensely demanding with only an elite few of the world's most experienced skippers being eligible to take on the challenge.

Wavy is heading out to Subic Bay to join the race in February and will arrive in the UK in the summer. We are going to be following him and his "GotoBermuda" crew every step of the way.
