Nick Leggatt to join Wavysail as skipper in South Africa
We are thrilled to announce that Nick Leggatt will join Wavysail as skipper in South Africa. Nick is a well-known, accomplished sailor, having crewed the 125' catamaran "Cheyenne' on her world record breaking circumnavigation of just 58 days. He also broke the Round Britain and Ireland world sailing speed record and has raced and skippered extensively on both hi-tech and traditional yachts all over the world, including 3 full circumnavigations.
Nick's first Wavysail trip will be to skipper our Cape Town to St Helena trip starting March 14th - It won't be at quite the same speed as some of Nick’s other sailing - but who wants the trip to go quickly when you have a skipper with Nick's experience and passion for the Ocean to share it with!
